Things to know
On our tours, we want to adjust to your needs as much as possible. That’s why we use a few different accommodations with the same quality. The place of your stay depends on your preferences, budget and availability, especially if we travel during peak season. But don’t worry, we will inform you in advance of all the details!
We strive to make your stay in Scotland as worry-free as possible. We offer accommodation booking, detailed handouts and round-the-clock support to resolve any issues or inquiries that may arise during your stay.
Everyone has different preferences, that is why we have decided to give you a free hand in choosing restaurants, this way everyone can eat what they want. We can recommend some places to you, and if you would like to eat at a particular restaurant, we can make a reservation for you – just let us know. The guide will also be happy to tell you where food is delicious. One thing is for sure – you will not go hungry!
It might depend on how severe your restrictions are. In bigger cities, vegetarian meals are not difficult to come by. In suburbhs, smaller towns and villages, you might struggle to find vegan and gluten-free meals. However, you can always call the restaurant in advance or ask on the spot about not including specific ingredients in your dish.
Keep in mind that Scotland has a maritime climate with mild summers and cold and humid winters. The locals are fond of saying that you can experience all four seasons in a day, and quite often that’s the case. Make sure you pack for unpredictable weather, even in the summer, and don’t forget an umbrella or a raincoat!
